Selamat Hari Raya dan Duit Raya RM50

Daku ingin mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin kepada semua rakan-rakan sekalian.

Disini disertakan sekali duit raya RM50 untuk tatapan semua:

Duit rm50

Hahaha.

Mestilah daku tahu kerana selepas sahaja Tol tersebut, time to speed to 210 km/j.. muahaha..

Wuhuu.. Seeloknya daku mestilah segera mendapatkan rumah sewa atau beli berdekatan tempat kerja sini.

The reason…

On a very good Monday morning, I was at home at my hometown.. I took two days leave before because tomorrow I got a gov interview. Suddenly, everything (read: my life will) changed when Mr Postman came and delivered something with my name on it.

It is a start of new thing..

Surat

Then, the next day I didn’t went for the interview and did the medical checkup as required in the letter. The thing is, this is a super unexpected thing to me.. But all the way, I feel really grateful to Allah as I slowly adapt to new things and shift the projection of my 5-years view of what I can be. Lolx.

Then, I proceed with this letter to them…by hand. :)

Tangguh 1

I must give a notice period of 2 months to my superb company. The reason is because, I am 2-years more to become my boss replacement aka successor and I am involved in a future long-term core technology, plus it is hard to find replacement in 2 months, plus it is stated for 2 months notice in the contract employee agreement.

Then they respond they can only give me less than 1 month and if longer than that, it is impossible. Luckily they respond as below making it 1 and a half months:

Respond

Dealing with them again on the phone, and they agree to make it longer a week before the day of reporting. Oh so, nice.. And my manager and also my boss really care about their underlings, and one letter of recommendation follow up to support my application. Thanks to you guys, really2 touching me. Miahaha:

Me to Gov

Company reply

After that, they did reply on phone that they had approved my application and the will be letter follow up. Here it is!.. Ops.. I didn’t take the letter yet. It is in the postlaju office because they came when I’m not around. :)

I must say it is a good news and hoping to project a superb brighter future in this new path. Apa yang penting? Kaf Ba Ra Kaf Alif Ta Nun. Pray for me! :)

Pavilion on fire

Selepas menonton movie transformers dahulu,

Pertama bersama syarikat DiGi, “Ku bersamamu…” Orang kuning gitu. Tq Hakim for the half-price ticket.

Lastly, but not least, pagi tadi:
Dekan: “Salam, wat per tuh?”
Cik A: “Salam, baru nak masuk wayang.. Transformer.. Bawak anak-anak buah ni tgk pulak..”
Dekan: “Oh sila2..”

La.. Transformers lagi.. Isk2..

PJ Challenge 09

Lately I keep seeing advertisement of Blogger Karnival at Petaling Jaya, sponsored by Kaspersky. And the day has come. It is today - 20th June 2009.

ACTIVITIES :
PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST ( CAPTURE KARNIVAL MOMENTS)
TREASURE HUNT
BLOG 101 (BASIC)
BLOG 411 (ADVANCE)

More info:
http://www.pjchallenge.com
Utusan.com.my

“…selain daripada Karnival Bloggers, beberapa acara yang bakal mendapat sambutan ialah PJ Drift, pertandingan perbarisan, bengkel Liveable City, lumba basikal, sukan rakyat, Power Boat, program tanam pokok dan Seminar Landskap 2009.” Utusan

Blog 411
I dunno whether I will be going or not, but I has registered in advanced for Blog 411 slot. “How to blog more humourously, the drama and emotions of blogging, secrets of the Malaysian blogosphere, how blogging relates to journalism and more.” is some description for the slot from Kaspersky SEA website.

Raising number of bloggers
From my view, there are sudden raising on the number of bloggers nowadays, and it increase rapidly everyday. I wonder how many blogspot’s subdomains has already occupied and how many dot com domains were purchased from a serius blogger every single day. Now everyone can blog, can have own website and can talk almost anything to the world. Hatred, dissatisfaction, crappy things (sounds like me isn’t it) and not to forget all the good things, motivation and ‘Chicken soup of The Day’.

Who are those featured blogger?
There are a lot of bloggers from different niche: Life, Leisure, Business, Computers, Gardening, and others. To be truth, I didn’t even know those whose name listed in that blogger 411 slot such Kenny Sia, Amanda Choe, Ellie Chee, Niki Cheong, Jason Goh and Rames (excluding Josh Lim I first known from Advertlets controversy back in 2007). Of course I do follow some personal blog like the blog linked from here and also rather peeking into kak jie’s, ayoi’s, and the small sueannajoe’s mumblings. I dunno whether to classify a good blogging need to have special techniques or just ‘be yourself’ thingy. Although what in my mind now they are only Josh Lim’s crony, but thanks to them for having some time and making this event success!

Last but not least, if I go there this morning (oh gosh, its 3.30 am now, why I’m still awake) or afternoon, I hope to see some more Malay bloggers and also getting to know more about above blogger name mentioned. (BTW Ixora, Lynn, Niesah, Lolly, and sumer pembaca, g tak? Kalo g bgtaulah ek, leh lepaking kejap.)

A couple of Qs
P/S: Maybe a couple of questions to throw out to Kaspersky Lab, the event organizer probably:
1. How do bloggers (as bloggers raising rapidly) can help stop **cybercrime (as they also growing very rapidly)?
2. Can I get your free Antivirus now?

Ok babeh, time to sleep. Berhenti merepek sekarang! :)

** Cybercrime means not bounded to only hacking, malware or phishing links, but let say distributing porns, attacking an individual personally, publish bad things or porn pic for a person, and others.

Cleaning Up Spam Comment

Well, all I can say is thank you Akismet for protecting my site from ‘known variant’ of spam comment. If not, I’ll be having some difficult time to clean them all. Before that, I have received a lot of comments when I login to my dashboard.

For blogger.com or blogspot user, you dun have to worry about spam as Google will protect you and also you have the captcha at comment box for ‘human’ verification. Well, now the spammers has new method to deliver their spam - shoutboxes! And shoutbox also not filtering the comments from their backend, only controlled by their user. Hm.. I’m thinking of providing a service for protecting shoutbox spam, maybe standalone, or JV with Tan from Shoutmix then eye on Chatbox. Or maybe that just an idea (like always.. “Dekan, apa nak jadi ni?”) that never been virtualize.

Interesting about languages - same pronunciation, different meaning

One thing that I like about my daily work is that I got a chance to work closely with people from different races and countries around the globe. And the funny thing is these (hackers mackers) people are also as crazy as we are and I get to learn new words everyday and mostly ‘bad words’ from them. Is not that they saying it meaningly or directly to any person in the office, but in a manner that they teach you how to use that bad word. Hehe. I can now speak and understand a little Chinese, Hindi, and Tagalog (well, maybe Finnish will be included in the future :p ).

Here is some interesting words that I learned from them. This journal (blog) will be some kind of diary for me to remember those in the future.

In Tagalog, ‘susu‘ means ‘breast‘ (in Malay it is milk) and if they say to a waiter @ some cafeteria here, “tambah susu” it will means sort or add more breast. They will laugh themselves as they say that at first coming here. :p Luckily we can just bypass the word susu for ordering something with susu included.

In Tagalog, there is a word Kantot (close to kentut) that means sex. So if you accidentally say that “Ikaw kantot kita..” (which you do mean in Malay, “Engkau kentut aku..“) but it actually means “I’ll fuck you.” to them. What a words.. :P

Actually there’s a lot of confusion by the foreigners when they first come to Malaysia hearing our words. Like “terima kasih” cannot be said in India, you will get beaten by them, because that sound like ‘Your mother fucker’ to them. Haha.. So nice these multilanguages in here. We just launghing and sometime interchange those malay, tagalog, english, hindi, chinese words in daily work life. Its just so amazing.

So, that’s all. Happy Working, guys! :)
